OCPI
OCPI (Open Charge Point Interface) is an open protocol used for communication between Charge Point Management Systems (CPMSs), roaming platforms, and other EV charging ecosystem participants. Pleevi supports OCPI integration for CPMSs that want to connect their charging infrastructure.
How It Works

- Your CPMS sends charging session data and measurements to Pleevi via OCPI.
- Pleevi processes the data and feeds it to the optimization engine.
- Pleevi returns optimized charging schedules via OCPI.
When to Use OCPI
OCPI integration is a good fit when:
- You operate a CPMS and want to integrate Pleevi's optimization without changing your existing infrastructure.
- You want to leverage existing OCPI connections rather than setting up a separate integration.
- You are a CPMS and have an API available with similar capabilities as the OCPI interfaces. In this case Pleevi can build custom adaptions to integrate with your platform.
Getting Started
To get started or express interest:
- Contact us at support@pleevi.ai with details about your CPMS and OCPI version.
- We assess compatibility and discuss the integration scope.
- We configure the OCPI connection together.
