Eniris Smart Grid One

The Eniris Smart Grid One is a local energy management controller that Pleevi has a built-in integration with. If you have Eniris Smart Grid One devices deployed at your sites, Pleevi can connect directly to them, no custom integration work is needed on your side.

How It Works

The Eniris Smart Grid One communicates with Pleevi via MQTT. The integration is fully managed by Pleevi and handles both directions automatically:

┌──────────────────┐ ┌──────────────────┐ ┌──────────────────┐
│ Eniris Smart │ MQTT │ Pleevi │ │ Pleevi Engine │
│ Grid One │ ──────► │ Eniris Module │ ──────► │ (Optimization) │
│ (on-site) │ ◄────── │ │ ◄────── │ │
└──────────────────┘ └──────────────────┘ └──────────────────┘
  1. Eniris reports real-time metrics (solar production, EV charging status, battery state, grid measurements) to Pleevi via MQTT.
  2. Pleevi normalizes this data into measurements and transactions, feeding the optimization engine.
  3. Pleevi sends back optimized charging schedules (power setpoints) directly to the Eniris controller via MQTT.
  4. Eniris applies the schedules to the connected charging stations on-site.
info

Since the Eniris Smart Grid One is a local controller, it applies the charging profiles directly to the stations on the local network. There is no need for a separate OCPP broker or CPMS integration.

Supported Device Types

The integration supports the following device types connected to the Eniris Smart Grid One:

Device TypeData CapturedSchedule Support
EV Charging Stations (AC)Active power, per-phase current, cumulative energy, charging statePower setpoints sent via schedule
Solar PanelsActive power, capacity/
Battery Storage (BESS)State of charge, active power, energy capacityPower setpoints sent via schedule
Grid Meter (Site-level)Net active power, import/export energyPower setpoints sent via schedule

Data Flow Details

Inbound: Eniris to Pleevi

The Eniris Smart Grid One periodically publishes feedback messages containing the state of all connected devices. Pleevi processes these into:

  • Energy Measurements, power values, per-phase currents, and cumulative energy for each device.
  • Transactions, charging session lifecycle events (started, updated, ended) for EV charging stations, derived from the device state.

Transaction detection is automatic: when a charging station reports that an EV requires charging, Pleevi creates a transaction. When the EV stops charging, the transaction is ended.

Outbound: Pleevi to Eniris

When the Pleevi optimization engine produces a new schedule, it is sent to the Eniris Smart Grid One as a series of power setpoints. Each setpoint specifies:

  • The target device (charging station)
  • The power setpoint in Watts
  • The time window (start and end time)

The Eniris controller then applies these setpoints to the physical charging stations.

Getting Started

Since this is a managed integration, setup is handled by the Pleevi team. To get started:

  1. Let us know that you have Eniris Smart Grid One controllers deployed at your site(s).
  2. Provide the serial numbers of your Eniris devices.
  3. We configure the connection on our side.
  4. Activate the external signal of Pleevi in your SmartGridOne control dashboard

Once configured, data will start flowing automatically and your site will appear in the Pleevi platform.

Combining with Other Integrations

The Eniris integration can be combined with other Pleevi features:

  • Forecasting, Solar and uncontrollable load measurements from the Eniris controller can be used to set up PV and UL forecasters.
  • Driver identification, If you also use the Smart OCPP Broker, badge IDs from OCPP StartTransaction events can be linked to drivers, enabling the Pleevi driver application alongside the Eniris-managed charging.
